Rockno was founded in the wee hours of a January night in 2007, when Ed and Donald decided to put on a special warehouse party that would bring together 2 worlds. Ed, a prolific DJ/designer and Donald, an innovative musician/producer brought together their love of music and good times.
The plan was to collide both techno and rock and somehow get them to work on the same stage/page. They wanted fuse transitions between the different music and genres and make them flow like a non stop DJ set.
They rushed everything together to create a unique line-up of acts that included friends and other musicians/DJs they knew and liked.
Through sheer hard work they managed to single-handedly( with help from some great friends) managed to build a stage, create decor, set up a unique projection screen and provide a special venue to showcase the first ever Rockno.
While they never probably recovered from it, Rockno was fun, well received and showed potential to evolve further.
That is where we are today, showcasing our favourite music, from our favourite unsigned acts giving them an opportunity to share their music online with the rest of the world minus the stigma from everyone else.

Our mission is to provide our favourite acts with the opportunity to sell and promote their music online with out getting lost in a sea of nothingness...
